Cocoon Appoints Cindy Mattingly as Chief Revenue Officer

North Hampton, NH — [August 31, 2026] — Cocoon today announced that Cindy Mattingly joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer responsible for Business Development, Sales Operations, and Marketing. In her executive role, Mattingly will lead the enterprise growth strategy across Cocoon’s engineered solutions that protect high-value military assets from corrosion and environmental damage.

Mattingly brings more than 17 years of progressive leadership across federal business development, capture management, sales, marketing, proposal operations, program management, and strategic growth. Before joining Cocoon, she served as NOBLE’s Vice President, Aerospace and Navy & Marine Corps, where she led growth and capture across defense and aerospace markets. She contributed to over $300 million in funded contract awards by developing effective capture strategies, building strategic partnerships, and engaging closely with customers.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at this critical moment as demand for Cocoon products and services grows exponentially,” said Mattingly. “Cocoon’s built a reputation for understanding customer challenges and translating that insight into practical, mission-focused solutions. I look forward to helping bring our people and capabilities together around a disciplined growth strategy that builds on that strong foundation.”

In her new role, Mattingly will develop and execute Cocoon’s long-term revenue strategy, strengthen enterprise forecasting and pipeline discipline, and lead complex, long-cycle pursuits across domestic and international aerospace and defense markets. By bringing Business Development, Sales Operations, and Marketing under unified leadership, she will strengthen the connection between customer engagement, capture and proposal execution, market positioning, and Cocoon’s technical and operational capabilities. Her leadership will help build the scalable processes, tools, and teams needed to support the company’s next phase of growth.

“Cindy understands that sustainable growth in defense is built by earning trust, shaping markets, and aligning customer commitments with the ability to execute,” said Amy Coyne, President & CEO of Cocoon. “She combines disciplined strategy with a genuine commitment to customers and teams. Her leadership will help us expand our capacity for growth while remaining focused on what matters most, delivering solutions that protect critical assets and support military readiness.”
